Santa Cruz is the oldest population site from Lagoa, and Casa de Santa Cruz is in Rua de Cima. Although the house is located in the city of Lagoa, it has a rural experience, surrounded with cultivated gardens as well as domestic animals from the neighbourhood. This house is a typical house, and it was totally rebuilt from 2019 to 2021.

 

During the house renovation, there was a concerning over keeping the original characteristics, mainly the doors and the windows, as well as decorating the house with XX century furnishing produced by local woodworkers.

 

The house also invites you to experience outdoors and with nature, with a small orchard and a vegetable garden.

Casa de Santa Cruz has a license to host guests (RRAL n. 3386) and allows a comfortable stay on the island of São Miguel.
